My second piece made in collaboration with Matthew Hindson and created in anticipation of the London Olympic Games in the summer of 2012. The original title Faster, Higher, Stronger saw us fall foul of the Olympic Committee who don’t seem to like their motto or symbols being used in homage, unless it’s on a fizzy drink or a shower gel.
A more light hearted piece than our previous ballet, Faster explores the kinetic and emotional qualities of athletics and competition, rather than depicting specific sports.
